Jude – Co owner and Creative Director

Jude grew up learning about flowers through helping her grandfather in his garden, which she did from a very young age. After spending her twenties working in the advertising industry she became involved with the floral profession in the early nineties when a friend asked her to help set up a chain of flower shops in London. They became very successful and Jude was involved in all sort sof wonderful events such as film premieres and society weddings. She also supplied flowers to the Queen Mother and celebrities such as Pink Floyd. She learned her skills by shadowing experienced florists and went on lots of courses to learn the technical aspects and found to her surprise that she had finally found a career that she had a lot of passion for. In April 2006 she moved down to the Cotswolds with her husband Nick (more of him later) and daughter Millie. Jude’s vision for Camelia Flowers is to provide stylish yet affordable flowers for all occasions to our local community and to people who are having parties and weddings in the local area. So far she is delighted with the response Camelia has had had and hopes to be here for many years to come.

Jude’s favourite flowers are sweet peas, peonies and fragranced roses and if she is not in the shop or working on a wedding or party her most precious moments are spent enjoying time with all of the wonderful friends her and her family have made since moving here.
